AGISTMENT — COSTS AND CHARGES

Downes Equestrian Services offers full and part care agistment. The advantages are as follows:

1.   Downes Equestrian Services keeps paddocks and stables in excellent condition. Manure collection is done twice daily to ensure paddocks are kept fresh and worm free. ALL horses are wormed every 6 weeks by management to ensure all-round worm control;
2.   Downes Equestrian Services ensures the health and wellbeing of all horses as a top priority. Daily contact with every horse monitors health, wellbeing and ongoing good behaviour;
3.   Downes Equestrian Services ensures that all horses are fed regularly and at the same times each day. This makes for happy, contented horses and subsequently owners.

Downes Equestrian Services’ pricing is created per week and paid for four (4) weeks in advance. The cost of feeding your horse or horses depends on a number of factors that are centred around your horse or horses’ requirements but mainly according to the following criteria:

a) Feed required to keep your horse or horses happy by monitoring condition, health and overall wellbeing;
b) Breed, physical condition, fitness of your horse or horses and specific equestrian discipline;
c) Condition of your horse or horses on arrival at Downes Equestrian Services;
d) Amount of work accorded to the specialist individual Downes Equestrian Services’ training program in relation to owner or owners’ goals while your horse or horses are residing at Downes Equestrian Services‘ location.
